I came to counselling after experiencing panic attacks following a traumatic time with my daughter. Pamela, helped me work through this, to the point I was no longer having panic attacks and could actually talk about the experience, whereas I couldn't before.
What helped me most was being heard, having a safe space to offload, to talk, to deal with my trauma at my own pace and be supported through it. I now feel more in control. I am able to revisit the trauma as and when I need to, which still isn't often, but I do share it to try to help other people who have been through similar. Pamela was calm, empathetic, and gave me confidence in overcoming my trauma. She afforded me the time and space to deal with the situation at my own pace, and I will forever be grateful I would say to someone thinking about counselling, It works! When you find the right counsellor, someone just like Pamela, you can and will overcome the reason for attending. Pamela, Thank you for allowing me to talk about my trauma, whilst supporting me. Giving me coping strategies and the confidence to move on and rebuild.

I have always suffered with panic attacks over the years but during 2024, they became severe enough to affect my day to day life. I took the leap to seek some professional help to allow me to work through past trauma and seek potential new perspectives. I found Pamela on the internet and reached out to book in some time. During our sessions, Pamela would listen to me intently, allowing me the space to speak and provided insight when required. This allowed me to unearth buried thoughts and feelings and deal with them in a safe space. What helped me the most is having someone to push me to challenge my way of thinking. She provided me with breathing techniques which helped me keep my anxiety under control. Since finishing my appointments with Pamela, I have not had a panic attack once. The breathing techniques she taught me plus the counselling has improved my life. I feel more confident in my ability to handle situations which would cause anxiety. Pamela's approach provided me the space to speak on my issues whilst giving me the agency to figure them out myself, with her assistance.

I came to counselling as I needed to understand why I kept struggling with relationships and staying in relationships but it opened up to other areas of life and flowed into uncovering other issues. Just having someone external in my life helped me the most to discuss myself and not feel judged. I always felt safe and appreciated someone who was willing to challenge me. I now feel clearer, understand my behaviours and recognise parts of my life that’s in my control but also out of my control. Pamela’s approach was patient, understanding, pushing barriers and allowing to be yourself in the space. I couldn’t recommend her enough. I would say to someone thinking about counselling, Do it, it’s an MOT for your brain and I swear it will be tough but always got to breakthrough. Thank you Pamela, i've never had anything like this before but you made the whole experience different, I felt safe and listened too.

I needed support to juggle the amount of plates I was balancing and felt I was coping reaching out allowed me to reason and process the priorities and free my mind. What helped me most was being listened to, not feeling judged and feeling accepted for me. I now feel more confident and have the tools to process issues and not to worry as much. Pamela is calm and so empathic and understanding. For anyone thinking of wanting to try counselling I would certainly say go for it as it allows you to discuss things I would never discuss with family members. Moving forward I feel more calm and focused, it’s allowed me to plan and work through things one day at a time.

I was very nervous to start therapy as I have never had it before, but Pamela made me feel very relaxed whilst I was in her room. When explaining the situation, I had been through I never felt judge where when talking to other people I felt like they were judging me but Pamela never did this.
I felt I was able to express everything I was thinking and she made me understand why I was thinking like this. Even though I didn’t want to go to therapy I am grateful I met a therapist like Pamela who has helped me get back to my happy positive self. What I felt helped me the most is being able to talk to someone and have them listen but also give advice on ways to cope, as this is what I struggled with the most, coping with everyday tasks which I used to find easy. I now feel really happy and learnt that it’s okay to put boundaries in place and I learnt it’s okay to not always been happy just take things slow and one day you will feel a lot better. Pamela had a very calm, gentle and understanding approach. For someone thinking about therapy I would say I know it’s hard and it does feel like a lot a first but it’s the best thing you can do, I used to think I can handle everything on my own but I find therapy is good to help to rant and also a safe space to go. Also, you might not always want to tell people your story who are in your lives, but I find talking to a stranger is sometimes easier. I would honestly say that pamela has really helped me turn a bad situation into a positive light and allowed me to not let this situation consume me and allows me to not let this stop me from being happy.
It is hard at first and you never feel like you will be happy again but trust me you will it all just takes time and patience and Pamela has helped me understand this.

I came to counselling to let go of the past, build tools for managing stress and anxiety, and grow in emotional maturity. I hoped to learn how to enjoy life more freely, without feeling the need to control every aspect of it. What helped the most was working with Pamela, I have tried a few different therapists that weren’t the right fit. She’s incredibly down-to-earth and easy to connect with, which made it much easier to open up. She listens carefully, remembers everything I share, and genuinely takes it on board, making me feel heard and understood. Pamela gives practical tools and offers very poignant insights that stay with you, helping to put things into perspective. The space she provides is calm, safe, and welcoming, which has made a real difference in how I manage stress and approach life. I feel lighter about the things I was carrying. I’ve been able to forgive, close chapters on certain parts of my past, and feel more in control of my own emotions. I can recognise patterns in my thoughts and behaviours and put preventative strategies in place, which helps me manage challenges more effectively.
Pamela’s approach was compassionate and non-judgmental, helping me feel accepted and understood. She balances empathy with clarity, gently challenging me when I need it while celebrating progress along the way. Her style encourages self-reflection and growth, making the sessions feel collaborative rather than prescriptive. I always left feeling empowered, with a clearer understanding of myself and practical ways to navigate life’s challenges. I would say to someone thinking about counselling that it’s worth giving yourself the chance to be heard and understood. It’s a safe space to explore your thoughts and feelings without judgment, and you can gain tools and insights to help manage life’s challenges. Even just starting the conversation can make a big difference, and having someone supportive like Pamela guiding you can help you feel lighter, more in control, and able to grow. For me, counselling has been just as much about having the right therapist as it has been about the journey itself. I really believe Pamela can help anyone - she’s kind, understanding, and makes you feel truly heard. She creates a safe, calm space where you can open up, offers practical tools, and shares insights that really stick with you. Working with her has made a big difference, and I feel like anyone would benefit from her support.

I came to counselling because I felt really overwhelmed in my life with stress from work and from health and I needed to do something to change. Very low self-love and worth. Taking an hour out each week to reflect on my current problems but also dig into those in the past. I hadn’t quite realised just how much I had harboured past grief and trauma and how deep this was buried. I now fee lighter and more positive. I can attribute my reactions to triggers in the present to the trauma in my past, which helps me understand myself and manage my feelings more. I am generally more positive and while still have stressful moments I can deal with them a lot better. We used a combination of counselling and hypnotherapy. Pamela was kind, patient and encouraged me to open up on topics that I’ve never opened up on. She helped bring new perspectives and created a safe space for me. For anyone thinking of starting therapy It will help you more than you know. Think of it like an impartial and confidential sounding board that helps you pull those threads in your mind that you’ve been scared to pull or avoiding. I miss our sessions and wouldn’t hesitate to come back!

I came to counselling because I was struggling to navigate some huge life changes that were happening. What helped me most was speaking to Pamela about my thoughts and feelings, to try and make sense of what was going on in my life. With Pamela's help, I have been able to break things down and take a look at things with a clear perspective. I now feel confident to move forward in life, and make decisions that will benefit me. I also now feel able to put myself first. Pamela's approach was calm, caring and she really offered me a safe space to be honest and open without feeling judged. For anyone thinking of starting therapy I would say that you should just go for it! Even though it can feel scary initially, it really is the first step to move forward with whatever it is going on in life.

I was feeling burnt out at work and I was struggling with my emotions. I felt very up and down and like I had no resilience. Pamela used techniques that helped my body to relax when I was in a state of burnout. I felt like dedicating time to saying my thoughts aloud with someone so calm and understanding helped me to make sense of them. It relieved a lot of my worries. I now feel like I have strategies I can use when I’m struggling which helps me feel less up and down. Pamela’s approach was calm, kind, understanding and so helpful. If you are considering counselling, allow yourself to begin. Having the support of Pamela helped me overcome many personal difficulties and I only wish I had started sooner.

I can’t recommend Pamela enough. From the very first session, I felt genuinely heard, supported, and understood. Her ability to create a safe, non-judgmental space makes it easy for me to open up about things I’ve struggled to talk about and process for years.
What stands out most is her balance of empathy and clear, practical guidance. Every session leaves me with something meaningful to reflect on, and I’ve noticed real changes in how I cope, communicate, and understand myself. Pamela don’t just “listen” she helps me to connect the dots, challenge unhelpful patterns, and actually move forward.
If you’re looking for a counsellor who is compassionate, knowledgeable, and truly invested in your wellbeing, Pamela is someone you can trust. Working with her has been one of the best decisions I’ve made for my mental health.
