Accessibility Statement

Last updated: November 2025
Applies to: Pamela Statham Counselling and Lamina Wellness

1. What web accessibility is

Web accessibility means ensuring that everyone — including people with disabilities — can perceive, understand, navigate, and interact with a website effectively. This includes people who use assistive technologies such as screen readers, voice recognition software, or alternative input devices.

At Pamela Statham Counselling and Lamina Wellness, we believe that access to information and support should be available to all, regardless of ability. Our goal is to provide an inclusive online experience that supports equal participation and understanding.

2. Accessibility adjustments on this site

We have implemented a range of design and technical features to help make our website accessible, including:

  • Clear and consistent navigation throughout the site

  • High-contrast colour combinations for better visibility

  • Legible font sizes and accessible text spacing

  • Descriptive alternative text (“alt text”) for images

  • Logical page structure using heading tags (H1–H3)

  • Keyboard navigation compatibility

  • Responsive design suitable for mobile, tablet, and desktop use

  • Captioning and transcripts available for audio or video materials where possible

We continuously review and improve accessibility to ensure that our website remains easy to use for everyone.

  • Used the Accessibility Wizard to find and fix potential accessibility issues

  • Set the language of the site

  • Set the content order of the site’s pages

  • Defined clear heading structures on all of the site’s pages

  • Added alternative text to images

  • Implemented color combinations that meet the required color contrast

  • Reduced the use of motion on the site

  • Ensured all videos, audio, and files on the site are accessible

3. Declaration of Partial Compliance with the Standard

This website is designed with accessibility in mind and is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 AA standard.
Partial compliance means that while most pages meet accessibility standards, some third-party content or embedded applications (such as social media feeds, scheduling widgets, or video players) may not fully conform.

We continue to work towards improving these areas and welcome feedback to help us achieve full accessibility.

4. Accessibility Arrangements in the Organisation

Pamela Statham Counselling and Lamina Wellness are committed to accessibility not only online but also in how we deliver our services. Reasonable adjustments can be made upon request to ensure inclusivity, such as:

  • Offering online or telephone sessions for clients who cannot attend in person

  • Providing written or large-print materials where required

  • Using accessible venues for in-person groups or workshops, with step-free access where possible

  • Considering individual communication preferences to support comfort and understanding

We aim to make every client and participant feel safe, included, and respected.

5. Requests, Issues, and Suggestions

We welcome your feedback and are always open to improving accessibility on our website and in our services.
If you experience any difficulty using this website or wish to request an adjustment, please get in touch:

email: info@pamelastatham.uk
We aim to respond to accessibility-related requests or feedback within 5 working days.

Please include details of the issue, the page you were visiting, and any assistive technology you were using (if relevant). We will do our best to provide the information you need in an alternative format or resolve the issue promptly.

6. Commitment to Continuous Improvement

Accessibility is an ongoing process, and we are continually learning, testing, and implementing new ways to improve the experience for all visitors.
